Net Present was created to help Bridge the marketing gap between the big players and the small ones

Net Present is led by Mario Fasce, a Toronto-based marketing strategist with fourteen years of experience across agency, nonprofit, and consulting environments.

The through-line of that career is a single conviction: the discipline that makes marketing work at large companies shouldn't be locked away from the organizations that need it most. Mario has managed a $37 million annual media portfolio at Thrive Digital for clients including Rivian, Uber, and BC Children's Hospital. He built and led an in-house marketing function from the ground up at The Hanen Centre, running a team of nine across web, UX, CRM, sales, customer service, and paid media. And through consulting engagements at Nordicity and independently, he's helped nonprofits and cultural institutions — the Canadian Museum of History, Vancouver Art Gallery, Luminato, and others — translate real business goals into digital execution.

That mix is the point. Mario has seen what enterprise-grade rigor looks like, and he's spent much of his career bringing it to organizations that operate with a fraction of the resources. Net Present exists to do that deliberately: to sit in the gap between the strategy consultant who won't execute and the agency that won't think, and to serve the nonprofits, startups, and growing businesses that fall into it.

Mario holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, specializing in Arts, Media and Entertainment Management, and a BA from the University of British Columbia. He is a Chartered Marketer (CM), has taught digital marketing at York University Continuing Studies, and has guest lectured at Schulich. He served as Board Chair at Danceworks and is an active member of Toronto's independent consulting community.

He is also increasingly focused on how AI is changing marketing — both as a subject of research, in how AI-driven search reshapes what audiences see and believe, and as a practical tool for building leaner, smarter marketing systems for the organizations he works with.
